Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #50 – October 18, 2014

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it!

Woodworkers Fighting Cancer

Every year Marc Spagnuolo from TheWoodWhisperer.com puts on a charity build for cancer and for the past two years Steve Ramsey from Woodworking For Mere Mortals has joined him. This years build is a fun toy box. Here’s the deal…you build this toy box and submit a finished picture and Marc and Steve will each donate $5 to the Cancer Research Institute. They also have some corporate sponsors who will be donating as well. Here are the build videos for both Marc and Steve’s toy boxes.

Alain Vaillancourt

Part 9 of Alain’s epic shop build.

Stan Sullivan

Stan is back! Check out his newest project build. A cedar garden planter box. Quick and easy.

Jack Houweling

This week there were a few dozen scrap wood projects. Jack participated and I really like his idea.

Shane is always so creative and simple. Check out his latest video showing how you can easily modify a section of wood fencing to create a ball run for the kids.

Building a chest of drawers/dresser any time soon? Hopefully I will be sometime this winter. Here’s a little project inspiration for you. Art Mulder walks us through his build. I really like how each row is a different height. (click the image)

Matthew Cremona

Every week Matt puts out a weekly shop update video. He’s currently in the process of some pretty nifty projects. Both in the shop and out of the shop. Stop buy and check it out!
