Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #55 – November 22, 2014

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Jeff-Ferguson.com

A handy little measuring jig. I’ve actually seen these available in stores…

Patrick’s work shop

Check out Patrick make some custom lathe tools out of screwdrivers. Pretty nifty thinking.

Darbin Orvar

Christmas is next month which means you are running out of time to get anything built for gifts! Here’s a few ideas for projects that you can make out of plywood.

Alain Vaillancourt

Part 13 of the epic shop build!! This shop is going to look better than my house!

Drunken Woodworker

A lot of people ask me how to price their work for craft shows and I always have to leave them without an answer. I’ve never sold anything at craft shows. Here’s a good example of some craft show pricing though.

Izzy Swan

Izzy just being Izzy here. A drill powered jig to cut tenons with a circulars saw.

21st Century Woodworking

This workbench has a few things I’ve never seen before….

John Heisz

I’ve seen a couple of these and will definately be making one for my miter saw. John’s indexed version makes it repeatable so there is no need to cut a new fence after you remove it from it’s original location.

3DW – three dimensional thinking

Technology wins on this one. Absolutely stunning end result.

  2. Hey Jay…I don’t know if you speak/read spanish, but Jorge above said that ” he always enjoys the works that you present. If it’s not too much to ask, he would very much appreciate it if your videos had english subtitles. That way they can translate them to Castellano. If it’s very complicated, please ignore this request. Always thankful, Jorge from Argentina.” I don’t know how complicated it is to turn on english subtitles, but I enjoyed exercising the part of my brain that still remembers spanish.

I too have enjoyed your videos. I’ve been following you for a little over a year now. Keep up the good work!
