Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #57 – December 6, 2014

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it!

Sterling Davis

Lots of time to participate in this challenge!!

The Owner Builder Network

This is a nice little built in loft bed with a good picture filled article to go with it. Good ideas with this one. (click the image)

Ron Paulk

Finally the awesome rolling toolbox is complete. Ron has some brilliant ideas for contractors. Check out the rest of his content too.

Joe Orawczyk

There’s a couple things I like about this one. A street cone turned into a cyclone separators as well as a nice flip top miter saw, drill press, and planer stand. Good use of space!

Jon Peters Art & Home

Jon’s videos are always very informative. There is a lot that goes into a quality paint finish. Check it out!

BeachBumLivin

He’s finally back to making videos! This is one way to take a really crappy looking piece of furniture and make it look a lot better.

Matthew Cremona

I really enjoy these videos. Slabbing logs.

Frank Howarth

Here’s some turning I haven’t really seen before.

  1. I have a chain saw mill that is @ 28″. I cut down close to 100 trees mostly pine and oak, I want to cut the 10 fooot logs into 3/4 to 1″ thick boards for various projects. Will the mill cut logs to this thickness?

  2. Hire a person with a band saw mill, yes if you were going to saw like one log , maybe you will get job, done, and your back will be so sore. Besides with band saw mill you will get 1/4 more lumber out of each log.
