Video Notes:
- The hickory side table was a success with the wife. It will probably end up inside next winter.
- Have you seen my 7 year old nephew Nate turn a pen? Click here.
- I got a custom infill block plane from Hilview_wm on Instagram. It’s incredible.
- Here’s a few pics of the high chair I made with my uncle this week:Â
The high chair is a thing of beauty. Wait till it gets soy milk and pureed peas on it!
Id love to see a video about applying polycrilic via HVLP. I’ve tried doing reasearch to do so but there is either so much contrary information or most shy away from specifics or just recommend brush application or super expensive spray cans as the water based ones like Minwax Polycrilic dries so quickly it’s likely to ruin the spray gun. Do you have any pointers and manufacturers you recommend as well as thinning / mixes for applying them? Maybe an instructional video on water based polycrilics specifically?
It’s a simple water based finish. Any generic HVLP gun should work fine.
HIGH CHAIR IS A BEAUTY, KEEP UP THE VIDEOS AND THE 3WAY
CONVERSATION WITH APRIL WILKERSON AND NICK FERRY I ENJOY THEM AND LOOK FORWARD TO THEM. THE ONE WITH APRIL AND THE LADY IN GERMANY WAS VERY INTERESTING ALSO.
I only have one question, what keeps the baby from slipping out? Usually there are straps or a saddle-like horn there to prevent slipping out. Otherwise, it is a beautiful chair!
He was going to add a seat belt setup when he got it home. I didn’t have the materials on hand for what he wanted to do.
Ah, I understand. Thank you for taking the time to clarify it for me!
