Power Carving !! This much fun should be illegal! (vlog)

I recently went to Jackson, Mississippi, with Shawn Stone to visit our good friend Wayne Brown and hang out in the shop for a day. The original goal was to leave the cameras and social media at home and have a fun day of doing what we love…woodworking. After being postponed once we finally worked out the scheduling issues and made the trip down there. We also decided to bring the cameras at the last minute. I’m glad we did :)

We didn’t get the entire project done as we were just having too much fun not worrying about deadlines. The end result was an extremely fun day that we looked forward to for a long time. Sometimes you just have to get out there and get back to doing what you love…woodworking with no restrictions. Hope you enjoy the video!

  1. Wow, you had me going by the title. I have a older Ryobi Power Carver. The bits are interchangeable, so you can fit different profiles. The motor does nothing at all, until the chisel is pushed against the surface you are carving. I’ve owned it for about 6 years, and never used it, so I was hoping you had a similar project in mind :-) The seat turned out awesome. Shawn did a good job fine tuning the sander to work with him.

  2. When I saw your roll around Dust collector I had to up date mine. I have a pic but don’t know how to put in reply.
