Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #65 – January 31, 2015

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Wood Burned Art

The tallent here is off the charts. You seriously need to check out the rest of the images. All burned into maple. (click the image)

Matt Cremona

This dude has a lot of woodworking talent. He’s come a long way in the few years that he has been woodworking. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with in the future. In the mean time here’s a good tour of his current shop.

Long Island Woodworking

Here’s a great example that you don’t need a huge dedicated woodshop to make great projects. Mike used a pretty modest shop setup to make a great end-grain cutting board.

Paul Jenkins

Another example of saving money by making tools instead of buying them.

Darbin Orvar

Linn did some testing on different glue strength. I was shocked at how well regular hot glue preformed.

Brendan Stemp

Brendan is primarily a wood turner in Australia. He scored huge on some lumber but had to first figure out how to get it to the mill. Check it out!

Jimmy Diresta

Jimmy put together a great package of quick tips for using hot glue. This dude is really clever.

Pocket 83

Pocket 83 always has some great projects. Subscribe to his channel if you haven’t already.

Ford Hallam

This last one isn’t woodworking. It’s actually a very intricate reproduction carving into metal. Regardless of whether it was metal or wood carving, I very much enjoyed watching it. This is part one followed by part two.
