Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #73 – March 28, 2015

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Here’s another list of favorite YouTube channels. This time from Matthias at Woodgears.ca. Do you follow all of these creators? (click the image)

Mike Fulton

You may remember Mike Fulton’s shop tour from January. Since then he built my router lift with a couple of adjustments for his shop. Great job on the video edit too!

Darbin Orvar

Sometimes woodworking isn’t about the project but rather the process. This is a good video from Linn showing just that.

Griffon Ramsey

Really well done production in this video. And the project is pretty amazing as well.

Russ Richards

Simple bookshelf anyone? The video is a bit longer than what I would typically watch but his calm, collective presentation kept me watching.

McGinn’s WoodShop

There’s no way I would have as much energy as he does with it being that cold. Oh, and Bob’s your uncle. Hahahaha!

Bosch

This isn’t from a regular content creator but its great news for us consumers as it creates competition in the safety department for table saws. Bosch has come out with a flesh sensing technology similar to SawStop in that it retracts the blade when it detects contact with skin. However, this model doesn’t destroy the blade when activated. If you haven’t already seen it, here’s the product video on it.
