Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #84 – June 13, 2015

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

William Terra

This is so cool. Can you imagine seeing one of these pass by on a lake or a river? I wish there were some build pictures to go along with the final pics. But regardless there are some pretty neat pictures to check out. (click the image)

John McAbery Sculptures

Beautiful sculptures hand carved from solid blocks of wood. I definitely do not have the patience for this. Much respect. (click the image)

Glass Impressions

An interesting set of doors on this one.

The Idaho Painter

This man has a ton of awesome painting tips on his channel. This time he’s painting some already finished furniture.

Tips from a Shipwright

This is such a well produced YouTube channel. Here’s a great video on sharpening a chainsaw by hand.

Paul Sellers

Great educational woodworking as always from Paul. This time making a mortise and tenon joint.

Paoson Luthier & Woods

A very interesting circular saw table saw setup.

John Heisz

I really like this video from John. And a handy tool for around the shop is made as well.

Make_Whatever

This is a beautiful project! Made from old bamboo scrap flooring panels. Very well done.

Bob from I Like To Make Stuff made a super awesome Tron-inspired slab table. Very creative.

The Wood Whisperer

I’ve had the build vs buy debate in my head a dozen times when it comes to a traditional woodworking workbench and the winner of the debate almost always changes. Marc does a great job of hitting the thinking points on this one. (click the image)

Doucette and Wolfe Furniture Makers

Absolutely amazing craftsmanship here. They specialize in fine custom and reproduction furniture and have showcased a lot of incredible pieces on their channel. This channel isn’t an instructional channel but it’s definitely worth following.
