Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.
FDMC
This is a video from 2009 so the quality isn’t crazy awesome but the fluting jig being demonstrated might be of value to some of you.
Nick Ferry
Here’s a good breakdown on a solid drawer construction method.
Patrick Hosey
Good story, good massage, good video, good project.

Len Hovarter
I’ve been digesting as much woodworking workbench content as possible over the past month and stumbled upon this along the way. It looks like a great alternative and possible upgrade from the Benchrafted hardware. The operation of this vise looks incredibly smooth.
Matt Cremona
For the record…I’ve been sharpening my scraper wrong this whole time. Gentle pressure with the burnisher. That’s where I went wrong. Thanks Matt.
Andrew Klein
New inventions are great and Andrew Klein is no stranger to them. You may remember that he previously came up with a table saw blade that made a pretty nifty drawer construction. Here he made a nice set of 4-way parallel clamps.
WoodworkersJournal
Here’s a good video on cabinet door construction with a router table.
FastEasySmartTOOL
This dude is a genius. He shows a simple jig to make wooden threads. Really clever.
Cosmas B
I always enjoy seeing a new video from Cosmas in my YouTube feed. In this one he engineers a dust collection gadget for his most used router.
Make Something
David puts an interesting twist on building a relatively simple project by sharing how he became a YouTuber. Check it!
Thanks for the mention Jay, I appreciate it!
Jay, another interesting collection of things you find. Thanks for the post. Paul / paulsmessyworkshop
Some interesting projects here Jay.
Thank you very much dude.
Have a great day !
You’re welcome Jay and thank you
Have you looked into Paul Sellers workbench series? If not I would recommend it. At least you could take some of the ideas if not the entire design.
Hope this helps
I have been using too much pressure with the burnisher when sharpening a scraper too. I saw Matt’s video and realized it.
