Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #140 – August 20, 2016

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Stinnett Sticks

Carving is an art. You have to watch this video.

Here’s another great carving from Mike Stinnett.

watersandacland

I think they could have used 1 more clamp. That was one wicked lamination form.

One more from watersandacland. I wonder how many hours went into making this beauty?

Kirsten Dirksen

I absolutely love this in every aspect. Maintaining the beauty and history of an old house in a completely modern way.

Wm. Walker Co.

This dude’s videos are great. Very well produced.

frank howarth

An orbiting time-lapse camera rig. Super interesting…

Tim Weston

After my recent trip to north-west Florida and with a few enjoyable boat trips in mind I’ve been dreaming of building a boat a LOT lately. Because of which I stumbled upon Tim Weston’s video series showing his build of a catamaran. Talk about dedication. What an amazing build. This is a 7 part series and if I posted the correct link videos 2 through 7 should start right after the first one in this same video player.

King Design, LLC

A work of art. And a lot of wood. 44 minutes well spent on this video.

  1. Jay, always fascinated by your “around the web stuff”
but this week has left me hanging. What the heck is that thing that they glued up?????

    • Hey Jim. I could be wrong but I think it ended up being a modern style set of table legs or something similar. Just thought that it was quite an accomplishment to get it all glued up.
