Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #218 – September 15, 2018

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Paoson WoodWorking

Shop engineering as usual with this channel. This time a tilting jointer fence. It’s been fun following his channel over the years. Almost every tool in his shop is homemade.

Heath Knuckles

B…E…A…Utiful! Stabilized maple burl turned into a hollow form on the lathe. I’ve been getting the turning itch a bit lately so it was nice to see this one in my inbox yesterday.

Jake Thompson

I met Jake last year in Oklahoma. He’s a great guy and has an interesting project here. One of the more interesting sharpening stations I’ve seen. Do you see the irony in using a CNC to make a hand tool sharpening station?

thewoodworkingshows

Alex Snodgrass doing what he does best. I recently switched out the blade on my bandsaw and saw this video the day before. Taking the table off made a HUGE difference. It’s just two knobs holding it on. Lots of little tips and tricks in this video. Bookmark it for future bandsaw reference.

  2. Thanks for the mention Jay. I told my Daughter that I would probably get some ribbing from using the cnc to make a hand tool sharpening station. A little ribbing makes it fun!
