One Minute Workbench
There’s a lot of homemade tracks or “door boards” out there to help guide a circular saw. I even have a video on making one. But this one is nice in that it guides the saw on both sides, is easy to make, and incorporates sight holes for aligning to your mark.

I love unusual materials being used for projects. Sometimes the result doesn’t look right but more frequently the unusual nature of the materials adds a design contrast that pulls the viewer in. I’ve seen epoxy and pencils for a variety of turned items but this is my favorite mix of those two materials. A skull that otherwise has a dry, dreary, and gloomy association is lightened and brought to life (no pun intended) with the pencils.

I LOVE this piece. While I would never give up the traditional aesthetics of woodworking design I really do appreciate the occasional piece here and there like this. It’s a fun, flowing design that is sure to be a talking point. I love everything about it.

I like Kieth Williams ball. Wonder how a walnut and maple Buckey Ball would turn out. I can do 15 ” on my old Shopsmith so one of these cays when my job jar is under control….
Second thoughts, it might look too much like wooden soccer ball. Hmmmm.

I have had a Safe-T-Planer for over 40 years! Use it on the aux spindle of my RAS. Not used very often, but really handy to plane odd shaped reliefs in projects. Looks a little dicey, safety-wise but is actually very safe and smooth to use.
