Video Notes:
– Wasted today playing Heros and Generals on Steam. I forgot how dangerous video games are toward productivity!
– The biggest complaint from the cat stairs video was using walnut. lol
– I took last week off. Daddy daughter time all week and it was great.
– Working on a built-in design for a trailer.
– Down 35 pounds since June. Intermittent fasting most days, no drinking calories, no processed food, no carbs. Clear mind, consistent energy, no crash until right before bed.

You’re a lucky gut Jay! She’s so damn cute!
Indeed she is :)
Awesome progress Jay. Congratulations.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
She’s adorable. Yes, she stole the show – lol
Indeed she did :)
Your video with your sweet little daughter made my day! Thanks and congratulations on the weight loss👍🏾
Thank you Jerome. Much appreciated.
You guys are so cute ! What a loving dad ! I’m very interested in the video, going from wireframes to fully ready files is no small feat !
Thank you, Kevin. Much appreciated. The video will be LONG!
It’s great getting out in the shop with the kid..
Your little munchkin is so cute and funny. 2 is a great age.. :)
My daughter is 6 now, and she helps me with things every time I have here for my weekend.
I’ve already got her using a little pull saw to cut miters for a picture frame she wanted to make, and she’s helped on the drill press, both timber and steel drilling, (including dabbing drilling oil on the bit), when drilling out the 8mm mounting holes in some metal brackets for the rear end of the billy cart I recently built for her.. (power upgrade in the planning stages ;) )
I’ve kept her away from all the other power tools which will remove curious fingers, but I’ll admit she has assisted at the bandsaw, cutting out the curves in the pieces for a little knockdown stool we made a few months ago (inspired by Tamar from 3×3 Customs stool design).
All of this is great for hand-eye coordination, and problem solving, and all that other good stuff.
And if it’s not shop time is Lego building, she already built the first 2 Technic sets, which I got when I was about 7 or 8.. She’s ahead of the curve, and I could not be happier. :)
cheers man
Love your daughter Jay LOL Such a cutie pie. Can’t tell your in love at all. HA HA.
:)
She is totally adorable! Nobody was listening to a word you said dude.
I believe you are correct.
Loved the video! Kudos for not pushing your kids away and keeping them in the middle of your life. I always stopped my tools when my kids would come in to the garage and it definitely delays a project. But they’re only young once. When my (currently 17yr old) was 15, I was able to trust him to use a table saw and a few other hand power tools due to his time spent with me and watching me work. Now he can make speaker boxes for his friends and make a little side money. Also, congrats on the weight loss! As a Baton Rouge, LA native, I know how tough it is to lose weight in the south. Exercising in this humidity feels like an asthma attack on most days, so I know how tough the diet route can be.
The diet change was pretty easy for me. Sugar is the only crutch. It’s an addictive drug for sure. Naturally intermittent fasting helps a ton too.
One of you two is beyond cute.Sorry Jay not you.Definitely got some competition coming
DEFINITELY not me! haha
Awesome Jay! I’ve noticed you have not setup your brave rewards account to receive tips. I would love to give you BAT!
I didn’t know anyone did that.
So much fun! Loved near the end when she took a drink w/out spilling and looked at you as if to say, HAH! Thanks for sharing!
❤️🙌🏼
Can you change the format (size) or your video on your website. It seems you are at the size YouTube used to be. Now they are considerably larger which I really like. The only option I can see here is ‘full screen’ and I’m not a fan of that.
Great Video Jay … She’s adorable …. yeah buddy !!!
Adorable!!!
You are truly blessed!!! Great job on the diet… Keep up the great work 👍👍
She is a pistol! You look like such a proud daddy!! That is why I watch you, you are a guy’s guy!
What a sweetheart! Jay, I’ve been following you for several years now and have been impressed by your progression as a woodworker but I’m even more impressed with your progression as a father. Congratulations! You’re an inspiration.
Yup, a train wreck, but a wonderful one.
She is adorable!
Keep doin what you are doing, you are doing it right!
Could she be any cutier!
She is such a sweet little thing, you and your wife are doing a wonderful job. 😘🇦🇺
Best video, she needs her on VLOG, adventures in the shop. Beautiful family.
She’s so stinkin’ cute, how do you get anything done? I’d have to spend the whole day watching her.
She is absolutely adorable!
she is a Cutie-Pie. Blessings, Jay.
I was on your website buying plans to make a woodworking bench. While there I clicked on “She Stole the Show.” Yes, she certainly did, with beauty and charm, and has a lot of fans.
