Day 31 since buying 101 acres. It’s time for some tractor time. We planned our move around using pallet forks on a tractor to do most of the heavy lifting. With pallet forks and 101 acres of trees in mind, we knew a tractor loader would be getting a workout from us on the new property. Because of that, I chose a Bad Boy 4035 tractor due to it’s loader lifting capacity of 2,200lbs.
In this video I installed the SpeeCo quick hitch, a Piranha bar to the front bucket, and assemble and install the Woodland Mills WG24 stump grinder. I also chased a tire leak that I still can’t find.

I like those big-boy toys~! Would love to get an “entry level” tractor with those capabilities, but we only have 2.8 acres, so I have trouble justifying it in my own head. There’s always the rental route should I need it. Looking forward to your next video~!
Chiggers and poison ivy!! welcome to the boonies, Jay!
Twice this year and never befor in 69 years we had tire flats traceable to leaks in the aluminum wheels, took forever to find. Good Luck.
Get some Deet man Long pant and Long sleeve outdoors man shirts. Always. They protect you so much.
Sucks about the PTO. Your getting it figured though.
Not sure how hard it is to completely remove the tire and wheel assembly, but if you can:
Inflate tire to max PSI;
Use a cheap kiddy pool or horse trough or whatever basin is large enough to get at least 1/2 of the wheel assembly into it. The air bubbles will help you find the spot either in the tire itself or the metal wheel.
HTH and so sorry about your chigger and Poison Ivy challenges.
