Finally. Finally!! One more time….After 214 days we have FINALLY reached the 40×60 shop construction phase. The shop is an on-site fabbed red iron welded steel building. This type of structure is extremely common where I live. On day one the crew was able to secure all of the column base plates, cut and weld 7/8 of the main frame columns in place, and assemble the four I beam trusses.
Day 1 of the build was Friday, November 8th, and this video is being published on the following Thursday. The weather has allowed three full work days since the start. I’ll cover Day 2 and Day 3 in the next video when the roof and wall bones were built and the man doors and roll-up door were installed.




Where are the wind load supports?
They get put in after its steel there is no load on bare steel.
