Tractor life is measured in hours, not miles. But with days like today, I often wonder how many actual miles I traveled. With the summer drought in full swing, we have access to the entire property and all of my log piles. It makes sense to consolidate the piles into a log yard where they can be easily picked when the rainy season returns. Freeing up the tree line near the shooting range also provides a convenient location to start a bulk composting station.
