Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #86 – June 27, 2015

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Rich McNatt

A beautiful cutting board with an interesting inlay.

I personally prefer my own sawhorses but that may not be the case for you. Maybe you can get some ideas from this sawhorse setup. It’s got a few attachments. I especially like the portalble miter saw setup. That would be handy for jobsite work.

Carl Jacobson

While were on the subject of sawhorses, here’s a sawhorse design I have never seen before.

The Samurai Carpenter

If you aren’t already subscribed to this channel you might want to consider doing so. Tons of interesting tips and some top notch craftsmanship. This guy knows his stuff.

Matthew Cremona

These are some monster industrial machines. Glad to see some of this manufacturing still here in the USA.

Average Joes Joinery

I’ve never seen this way of hiding a screw before. Interesting approach.

  1. Great stuff you always are sharing for the basic woodworker and beyond. It nice to see how to build stuff with basic garage tools. thanks

  2. That’s what I call “paying it forward”. Its a nice world with people like you. Thanks for caring and sharing.

  3. Hey Jay, I saw your pallet wood table and benches project. It looks great. With the popularity of pallet wood, do you think it’s a good idea to use heat treated pallet wood only or will any pallet wood be okay?
