Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.
Wes Hamstra
Have you ever wanted to try to make something with bent lamination? It’s something I’ve never done but would like to. Wes did a great job with this one. It’s a unique and interesting design that fits his space beautifully.

PT Wood School
An animated video telling the story of Port Townsend School of Woodworking. I wonder how long this video took to create. I never thought I’d see animated woodworking before.

I attended Port Townsend’s Woodworking School in 2015. I spent a week there while I took the class “Hand Tool Heaven” and had the best time. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and friendly – always ready to help. I can’t recommend this woodworking school enough. I can’t wait to go back!
I read “Carido” as “cardio”, which after watching the whaleback saw in action, seems appropriate.
Thanks Jay again for sharing my video! All the best to you!
Nice finds Jay!
That Whaleback Saw reminds me of a t-shirt I need to find.
The logo has a #4 Stanley Plane in the middle, and just below it states “Woodworking is my cardio.”
