A bathtub made from wood, cedar to be specific. No fancy joinery just epoxy. Not only does it look great in the final shape he chose but I can definitely see someone taking it a step further and making one that looks like an old viking boat or something similar :) What a fun project.

The volume is a little low on this one so you will have to turn it up. Woodturning a cube inside a cube. It’s an interesting project to get some practice time on the lathe. GREAT wood selection for this one. It looks amazing.

The Katz-Moses video is the best use of marking gage that I have seen. I intend to dig mine out of the drawer and use it instead of the electronic widgets for a while.
Don’t have a Japanese saw yet, so duplicating the fancy joint must come later.
The bath tub builder might have an easier time in future projects with epoxy if he buys from West Systems or people who supply boat shops. There are neat additives like Cab-o-Sil to make epoxies non dribbling and specialty fillers as well.
