Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #274 – July 4, 2020

Occasionally I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

Another well produced video covering a well made project from Huy. In this one he shows us the dining table he made for his recently made set of chairs. Top notch work as always from Huy. Great craftsmanship.

Sean Evelegh

Have you ever tried making your own inlay banding? It’s a great way to get the exact details you want to really take your project to another level. Thanks for the demo Sean!

Here’s another one from Sean where he makes a nice dovetailed box and includes some shop made inlay material.

Here’s a great story of violin making by Galen Hartley. I really like his perspective on imperfections.

O&S Puupaja

A drill press table with front side adjustments. This looks like a well thought out design. Also a great example of how you can tram the table to be perfectly perpendicular to the bit.

  1. The last Video reminds me of old Jay Bates. Like a flashback or something. Really cool. And weird. Keep up the interesting stuff form around the web. I always get to see new things, despite watching a lot woodworking videos on youtube.
