Have you looked into Star Link Internet service? I’m in a rural area in the Missouri Ozarks (30 miles SW of Springfield) we love our service. We pay $120 per month and get plenty of download/upload bandwidth for streaming video. It’s bound to be better than cellular service.
When we had our underground electric service installed they included the conduit and boxes for fiber internet as well. Most all electric companies in Mississippi are offering fiber internet as well. We were told fiber would be ready in our area “early spring.” So with that in mind, we haven’t pursued any alternatives. We have a scheduled fiber install day of the 16th of this month, weather permitting.
