Day 471 – Grapple Mulcher Mowing – BaumaLight MP360

I’m continuing to use the BaumaLight mulcher in various situations to not only see where it shines, but also to see where it can fill the role of Jack of All Trades. Can it cut grass? Technically, yes. But so can a sledgehammer, and you can expect the same results. This muclher doesn’t have cutting knives so it doesn’t cut, per se. It mostly pulverizes, smashes, crushes, and bites. In this video, I’m reclaiming one corner of our clearing that has been overtaken by vines, briars, and a few massive Chinese Privets.

BaumaLight offers a wide range of equipment beyond mulchers, including models for tractors, skid steers, and excavators. For more information, or to browse their offerings, visit their website: https://jayscustomcreations.com/mp360

  1. Man, while we only have a little under 3 acres (mostly wooded), that Big Boy tractor & accessories sure would come in handy~! We’re still dealing with Hurricane Helene clean-up from last year.
You mentioned the “lumpy ground” areas…what tractor implement would you use to level that out? Is that the purpose of a Box Blade? We have areas that undulate for dozens of yards and we’d like to level it out to either put in grass or maybe even a garden. Will have to see what Home Depot has to rent or see if we can bribe a neighbor. LOL
Looking forward to the next installment~!
