I try to not work much around 911. And with a beacon of free speech, Charlie, being assassinated on the 10th, it was a sobering few days. If you want to change the world, love your family. We enjoyed some family time.
We milled the rest of the cedar log and were surprised by a colony of ants! I’m shocked they didn’t show up when I cut the log in half. It looks as if they were only living in the top half of the tree. From what I gather, ants in large cedar trees are common. In the end, the yield was better than expected. Plenty of material for bird houses.
He was not a beacon for for speech; quite the opposite. He didn’t want free speech for anyone outside his narrow view of America.
