Description
This project is a pocket hole blanket chest. The pocket hole construction allows this project to be made very quickly and easily and the addition of the plywood panels increase strength and tie everything together. You can get the look of a tongue and grove, floating panel blanket chest for a lot less time. I’ve made several of them of various sizes in the past. I have received a lot of interest in making a set of plans over the years and I finally got around to making them. The size can be modified easily but this plan is for a chest 34-1/2” long, 23-3/4″ front to back, and 24″ tall (927mm long, 603mm front to back, and 610mm tall). The plans are in both IMPERIAL and METRIC units. Included in the plan:
