Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #275 – August 8, 2020

Occasionally I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

O&S Puupaja

This one is really interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a quick release workbench with this kind of mechanism. Pretty brilliant if you ask me. Subscribe to O&S Puupaja:

Here’s another clever project from the same creator. A versatile box joint jig.

Jonathan Katz-Moses

Odds are you’ve seen this one already as it went viral over the past month. Jonathan and his team caught some super interesting slow motion shots of a SawStop cartridge activation. Specifically a dado cartridge activation. Incredible footage!

An interesting bent lamination project. How many of you want to give this one a comfort test? I think it would not only be comfortable but would fit just fine in my living room :)

Here’s a great gift idea. Ya know, Christmas is right around the corner. Better start making gifts now! This is not only a great beginner project but also a great CNC project that can be batched out for craft sales and such.

Cosmas was one of the first channels I subscribed to on YouTube. Always informative content and a great thought process. Here he redesigns an over arm dust hood to better suit his needs.
