I salvaged the wood from some kitchen cabinets that were going in the trash for the poplar board and used an old sofa for the other. I was left with this odd size 7.5×17 x 1.25. Ill call it a bread slicing board/bread serving tray. Recessed grooves to easily pick it up. These were not only my first hardwood project but also my first projects using my new Dewalt 735 planer. (pretend the bread in the last picture is a nice freshly baked loaf of home made banana nut bread….mmmmm)
