Interesting Stuff From Around The Web #102 – October 24, 2015

Every week I like to share a few things I find interesting. Mostly video content with an occasional website article. All of the content you will find in these posts is free to you. Remember that liking, subscribing, or sharing free content goes a long way in helping produce more free content. If you like that creator’s work, share it! Also, thank you to those who send me links through the week when you find something really interesting.

summerfi – Lumberjocks.com

I’m not sure what is more impressive, the saw till or the collection of hand saws. Either way the till is absolutely gorgeous and the maker deserves some serious high fives. There’s a decent length walkthrough on Lumberjocks. (click the image)

This isn’t in English but you can get a good grasp of what the machine is like and what it does. Pretty interesting.

Cosmas B

Great engineering once again by Cosmas. I’ve seen this homemade table saw in other videos of his previously. Glad to see a video on the actual saw.

The Homestead Craftsman

His house sure has come a long way. With his kitchen finished he built a kitchen island with a ton of storage. This looks fantastic.

GarageWoodworks

I’m looking forward to see this lamp completed. I really like the overall design of it and the bulbs he chose should look great.

Kyle Toth

Kyle is a great craftsman. His projects are always top-notch and this one is right up there with the rest. It looks like a lot of time end effort went into this one.

If you’re not familiar with Kyle Toth from the previous video check out this one. It’s a mini-doc on him. Very well put together video.

Rag ‘n’ Bone Brown

I recently found this guy’s channel. I like it so far. Here’s his most recent video where he salvages some old drawers to make a new project. It’s a good “Trash-to-Treasure” vibe. Check it out and subscribe so you don’t miss part 2.

Make Something

One of the best looking outfeed tables I’ve seen with a relatively simple construction. This looks really classy.

Inexpensive shop filtration for a LOT less money than a commercial unit.

Clickspring

My favorite metal working channel by far. If you aren’t familiar with Clickspring yet his videos are VERY well produced. It’s all home machine shop content. Here’s the latest part of his clock build.

Jack Houweling

Jack always has interesting projects. Like this impossible ring through bottle project. I bet this one is sure to be a conversation piece.

VirtuThe3rdTV

Japanese craftsmanship. Making a fountain pen. Interesting lathe setup as well.
